Holiday Date Night in Irvine

For a special date night, try stopping by the Orange County Great Park.  This East Irvine public space offers a yearly Holidayz at the Park event that usually runs from Thanksgiving week to the first week of the new year.

Check out the gorgeous outdoor light display at Palm Court, take a Christmas-themed art class, or watch a holiday movie outside under the stars. The Irvine Spectrum Center, a major outdoor mall that features several department stores and restaurants, also makes an excellent date-night destination for the Christmas season.

Each winter, a seasonal ice rink opens to the public, and the mall boasts a 108-foot Ferris wheel for a beautiful view of Irvine.

Christmas Fun For Kids in Irvine

If you're looking to give the little ones a fun holiday experience, head to Irvine Regional Park to ride the Irvine Park Railroad. This pint-size train line runs throughout the park year-round, and the annual Christmas-themed train runs from late November to late December.

Kids can enjoy a trip from the railroad's mini-train station and talk to Santa at his North Pole home. There's also a beautiful light tunnel sure to entertain young children on the return trip.

Tanaka Farms, a kid-friendly fruit and vegetable farm on the city’s south side, also offers family-friendly holiday activities. Pick out the perfect Christmas trees, wreaths, and garlands, or take an educational field trip through the pumpkin patch. Kids can also hop on a holiday wagon ride to visit some of the farm's barnyard animals.

It's easy to get from the upscale apartments of Main Street Village to these and other holiday attractions in the Orange County area. Set up an appointment to tour these luxurious Irvine living spaces today.
