What if there was a local restaurant where you could get scrumptious food and support a wonderful cause. Where you could rest easy knowing everything you are eating is fresh, organic, and locally grown. And where all the profits from your meal make a tangible difference in peoples’ lives. We at Main Street Village are lucky enough to live next to such a place. Andrei’s Conscious Cuisine & Cocktails is all of the above and more.

Andrei’s was founded 10 years ago as the passion project of Natalia Ostensen, who suddenly lost her brother Andrei back in 2005. As a way to honor him, she decided to create a restaurant that was classy, yet warm and inviting; a place to share memories with colleagues, friends, and family over some cocktails and responsibly sourced cuisine. From the beginning, they have made it a point to have as many partnerships with local farmers and local suppliers as possible. Fresh ingredients are paramount to their menu and they source locally grown produce, naturally raised meats, and sustainable seafood.

The location for this dining hotspot was chosen carefully to make sure it was in a prime place to make the biggest impact possible on the local community. They loved the idea of a community where you can live, work, and play, so the Irvine Business Complex area seemed like the perfect neighborhood to call home!

When you eat at Andrei’s, you are directly helping improve the lives of people in need. All profits go to the Andrei Foundation, a non-profit that was also established in memory of Andrei as a means to keep his kind-hearted spirit alive through various philanthropic initiatives. Since its inception, it has donated over $400,000 to environmental protection efforts, vision-related research, and programs that directly help improve the lives of those affected by blindness/vision impairment. All of these were causes Andrei supported during his lifetime.

If you are looking to grab a quick bite in the morning or a healthy lunch on the go, try Dandelion Cafe, Andrei’s sister company right next door. Just like at Andrei’s, Dandelion focuses on the use of all-natural and responsibly sourced ingredients. Much of the menu at Andrei’s changes every 6 months, so you will be able to explore new flavors all the time. But don’t miss the delicious Andrei’s Chop Salad and the fan-favorite Chilean Spice cocktail!
