Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve

The Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve is an expansive wilderness park with stunning views of Newport Bay. On your run through this hiking trail, you’re likely to see some stunning California wildlife, including nearly 200 species of birds, marine life and maybe even a Bobcat! Be sure to take a breather and enjoy the views when you stretch your legs in this park. We’re not surprised this trail ranks as the 10th best thing to do in Newport Beach on Tripadvisor! It’s definitely one of our personal favorite parks in Irvine. 



San Diego Creek Trail

The San Diego Creek Trail is a great option when you want to run on trails near home! You can pick the trail up just 10 minutes from Main Street Village. According to All Trails, you can even bring your furry pal along for a run, as long as you keep them on a leash. That’s right, if you want, your runs are now dog friendly! San Diego Creek Trail is also a great biking trail when you want to feel the wind in your hair. With over 14 miles of trail through the city of Irvine to explore, it’s no wonder this neighborhood gem earned 5/5 stars on Trail Creek! 



French Hill

French Hill is a great option if you want a run with panoramic views of Irvine! This 4 mile climb makes for a great leg workout, and the view at the top is worth the effort. Between the wildflowers and the wonderful views, French Hill is a neighborhood gem that has garnered 4/5 stars on All Trails
