It’s that delightful time of year here in Orange County where you don’t have to make dinner. Or lunch. Or really any meal for that matter, because the participating restaurants in the 2020 Orange County Restaurant Week will take care of the cooking for you! The only thing you’ll need to make between March 8th and 14th is reservations to any of the 150 participating restaurants. No dirty dishes, no prepping and cooking. This week is for the foodies of SoCal to sit back, relax, and indulge in all of the delicious cuisines here in the OC! This is the 12th year that the event has brought the community together with the art of food, and here are a few things to consider as the food-filled week approaches.
One of the best parts of Orange County Restaurant Week is the variety of pricing options that come with a massive range of exquisite participating restaurants. Whether you are simply looking for a quick $15 lunch or an $80 luxe dinner, Restaurant Week has something for everyone. The participating restaurants have curated special restaurant week menus and dishes unique to the occasion, some of which have discounted menu items that outside of restaurant week would be priced much higher. Not only does this invite foodies to try new things and new restaurants at a favorable price, but it also encourages that you try places you’ve maybe never been before! You can learn more about the prices, dishes, and all of the restaurants here.

The Participating Restaurants
The price is one thing to highlight as a bonus aspect of OC Restaurant Week, but the dozens of participating Irvine restaurants are worth highlighting too! Not only will each restaurant have a unique offering or specialty, but there are other factors that add to the overall experience; such as the restaurant’s location, the view, the ambiance of the restaurant, the wine and cocktail pairings, and of course, the desserts! Here you can find a list of participating restaurants by best cocktail specials, locations fit for “dessert lovers” during restaurant week, menus with vegetarian options, and much more! A few participating restaurants near Main Street Village include the Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Bosscat Kitchen and Libations, and Puesto Park Place.
The Launch Party
Everyone loves a good party, and especially one that is all about celebrating delicious food and drinks! If that sounds like your ideal celebration, then you won’t want to miss the OC Restaurant Week Launch Party. Happening on March 7th, from 2 – 5 p.m. in the Marriott at the Irvine Spectrum, this event is the most spectacular way to kick off a week full of friends, family, drinks and fine dining.
