Amazing Two Bedrooms

I have seen a lot of two bedroom apartments in my life and I can say with absolute confidence that the two bedroom units that are at Main Street Village are the best I have ever had the pleasure of touring. I was already considering Main Street Village luxury apartments in Irvine for leasing with my best friend and after seeing the two bedroom units available, I was sure that I should live on Main Street.

After touring the “Sequoia”, “Mendocino”, “Inyo”, and “Angeles”, I’m sure there are no better apartments in Irvine than Main Street Village. Each unit features stylish kitchens and bathrooms that have granite countertops and amazing wood cabinetry. Both rooms also feature sophisticated stone flooring and some units even have stained concrete flooring. All units are energy efficient and have low flow faucets in both the kitchen and bathroom. To make it even better, you have 3 different interior finishes to choose from. That allows you to truly make your apartment your own. Each of these awesome units also have patios or balconies that open up to a magnificent view.

My best friend I chose to lease the “Inyo” unit, and I am confident that we will be happy with our new apartment when we move in. If you would like a sophisticated and elegantly designed two-bedroom, then you should schedule a tour and check out Main Street Village luxury apartments in Irvine, California. It will definitely be worth the time, and you’ll find a home you can be proud of in the process.

Deck Your Walls

Now that you have been out seeing Christmas trees and Menorah lightings, caroling and visiting Santa Claus how about bringing some of that holiday cheer to your home at Main Street Village luxury apartments in Irvine, Ca.? Plus, you may need to find a tree to put those presents under.

A little over 4 miles away is Johnson Brothers Christmas Trees, which has hundreds of fresh Douglas firs, Noble firs, Scotch pines and others grown in the Pacific Northwest. They offer fire retarding and color flocking, so your tree can be pink, blue, purple, orange, green or look like it was just snowed on. This lot will even deliver your tree, garland, wreath, mistletoe.

One of my favorite places to buy Christmas ornaments is Pier One Imports which is only 5 miles away in Costa Mesa. Choose from hand-painted collectibles, to lights, candles or even holiday dish sets and place settings. They also have handcrafted nutcrackers, holiday throw pillows and blanket to keep you cozy.

So get home and deck your halls at Main Street Village luxury apartments in Irvine, California. May your season be merry and bright.

2 Beds are Better Than 1

My best friend Samantha and I have always lived together or near each other since our freshman year of college when we became roommates. Upon graduation Samantha moved to California for work, and I became a bit of a free spirit and tried the whole traveling thing. After a year, I decided I needed a fresh start and Sam said I should come to Irvine and we could be roommates again. After a long and grueling apartment search we found the perfect place in Main Street Village luxury apartments.

We toured a two-bedroom unit called the “Mendocino” and instantly fell in love. It was absolutely perfect. It came complete with granite counters in the kitchen and bathrooms. Yes I said bathrooms, because we both have our own for privacy. We both have spacious rooms and closets, and the elegant living room opens up into the balcony! When we first saw the unit, I told Samantha that even if we don’t get this unit, we have to stay at Main Street Village. The amount of interior amenities and community amenities was astounding.

In addition to all of the amazing amenities, Samantha and I can continue to host our friends that have also ended up in California since college. The living and dining rooms are large enough to really have a good gathering, or maybe a wine filled watch-party for our favorite shows.

After seeing the “Mendocino” at Main Street Village luxury apartments for rent in Irvine I am absolutely certain that there is no better place to live. I suggest you and your closest friend check out the 2 bedrooms that are available for rent at Main Street Village and sign a lease as soon as possible.

Old and New Traditions

The turkey has been stuffed, served and eaten. There may still be some leftovers in your energy-efficient refrigerator at Main Street Village luxury apartments in Irvine, but Thanksgiving is now over and it’s time to start decking the halls and getting into the spirit.

The newest event of the area happens December 6 when Irvine Civic Center transforms into a Winter Wonderland with a 25-foot-tall Christmas tree, holiday concert, train rides and children’s activities. The event is free, but please bring a new, unwrapped gift for kids up to age 12 for the Marine Adoption Committee Holiday Toy Drive. Santa will stop by, and it will even snow.

One of the oldest Christmas traditions is the Newport Beach Boat Parade which began in 1907. Over 200 ships, boats and water craft will all be decorated and lit up, with carolers and maybe even Santa. View the parade from the shore, or reserve a seat on a boat and be in the parade. You can cruise and see not only festive water craft, but estates along the shore as well. The parade begins on December 16 and ends December 20.

Or if you celebrate Hanukkah, check out the Golden Dreidle. This store carries Menorahs, dripless Chanukah candles, latke platters, collectible and toy dreidles, books and toys. This store is only 1.5 miles from the Main Street Village luxury apartments.

Whale Watching

Every year there is a special season that passes, that most people miss out on. It’s not one of the four seasons that everyone experiences every year of his or her life. No, no, I am talking about the migration of the blue whales. Each year they come past California on their way to their winter habitat, and each year people go without seeing them. We here at Main Street Village luxury apartments in Irvine don’t want you to miss out, which is why we want you to know about the migration.

The annual “Giant Blue Whale Migration” brings over 500 blue whales each spring & summer to the waters near Newport Beach. Over 645 blue whales were spotted in 2014, which is a big number because giant blue whales were once considered quite rare off the coast of southern California. However, over the last seven years this has changed dramatically with hundreds/thousands of giant blue whales spotted each year. These giants of the sea reach lengths of up to 90 feet and are the largest of all animals. Along with viewing these giants, the second largest whale in the world, the finback whale has also taken to the waters of southern California during the same months as the blue whales. Other varieties of whales are also possible during this time of year. Along with whales, giant pods of common and bottlenose dolphin are also very likely to be seen. These dolphin pods come within arms reach as they play along side the whale watching ship.

This is definitely something that you don’t want to miss, and the Main Street Village luxury apartments want you to see it, as we are only 19 minutes away from the site. Don’t hesitate to go and see them, as October 31st is the last day you can view them. Once you view the whales you’ll see that it is opportune to live at such a fantastic apartment that has the inside scoop on events such as these and want to schedule a tour. We hope to see you soon.

50th Anniversary

In 1965, University of California-Irvine opened up. The prestigious university is only 8 minutes away from us here at Main Street Village luxury apartments and we felt the need to take part in the celebration and honoring of William Pereira who was the initial architect of the campus 50 years ago.

A brief bit about William Pereira is that he was an American architect famous for futuristic designs of landmark buildings, such as the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco and the Theme building at Los Angeles International Airport. He also created the master plan for the 43-year-old city of Irvine, which is considered one of the greatest master-planned cities in America. Pereira helped define the look of mid-20th Century America and he was featured on the cover of Time Magazine in September 1963. The exhibit titled “Bold and Independent: UC Irvine’s 50th Anniversary Exhibition” will be held October 9-January 17 at the Great Park Gallery, Orange County Great Park. It is a free event and is open Thursday and Friday from noon to four, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 4pm. This is definitely something you do not want to miss especially if you are a student at UC Irvine or just a resident of beautiful Irvine, California.

We at Main Street Village luxury apartments for rent in Irvine hope that you find the time to go and check out the event, because it is truly a beautiful part of the history of our amazing city of Irvine. After checking out the event, consider scheduling a tour of our luxury apartments, because it is always good to live somewhere that is up to date on the local events in the city.

Art In Orange County

We have a love for art here at Main Street Village luxury apartments for rent in Irvine, and we should as California is home to some of the greatest artists and designers in the nation. We try and provide our residents with a fresh new lifestyle in reference to our apartments and to the surrounding community that is full of events and activities.

One such event is the exhibit that premiered October 3rd and will continue to December 12th at the University of California-Irvine, ‘A Performative Trigger: Radicals of Irvine’. This is an art gallery is open every Tuesday-Saturday from noon to 6 pm and is free to attend. The exhibit is conveniently located only 9- minutes away from the Main Street Village apartments. “A Performative Trigger: Radicals of Irvine, considers the moments – both Burden’s provocations and his student cohort’s equally contentious performance art – in the context of the larger aesthetic landscape of the Southern California art world, one that was comparatively conservative at the time.  In so doing, A Performative Trigger ponders what might constitute a resistant, radical act of art – a critical aesthetic – within contemporary art production today.

We at Main Street Village love being so close to such magnificent events, and our residents do too. Come join the family and see why Main Street Village luxury apartments are considered the premiere luxury apartments for rent in Irvine.
